My wife and I are doing a multi-city adventure over Thanksgiving. We've done similar trips in the past in western Europe and generally had a fantastic time. This will be our first real exploration in Eastern Europe (save for a Moscow/St. Petersburg excursion in 2011).
I'm using various guide books and websites to determine the things I want to see and do, but I figure a good question to ask this community is the opposite. Don't tell me what you think I should do, tell me what you think I shouldn't do.
What's overhyped and not worth the effort? What's dangerous or shady or a scam? What lessons did you learn?
