I'm leaving September 2nd for NYC for about a week, then I fly to Munich and from there I train it through Switzerland (hoping to hit up Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken, and Geneva) and France (Lyon, Paris, Caen) before ending up in Belgium.
I have $3000 saved up right now and expect to have a bit over $4000 by the end of August. Doing hostels/Couchsurfing, already have my Eurorail pass, not planning on staying in Paris, Geneva, or Zurich for that long as I've heard they can be cash suckers.
I've only ever gone on a few short trips to Sweden, Austria, and Germany once before, nothing this long or major so I could use some tips!
