So this Christmas I have about 10 days off but nowhere to really go yet. I initially took timeoff to join a friend in her native homeland, but now I realize that she is in a bit of an immigration snafu and may not be able to get a renewed green card in time to leave the country. She hasn't bought a ticket and I'm certainly not buying one because I would prefer to go with her.
Trying to think up some other places to head out to, but would love to hear about you skipping a holiday to escape the norm(read: your family).
I think I might check out Australia, Istanbul or Colombia. All which would be pricey from Phoenix, but whatever. I'll spend the money to go.
