I'm taking a trip down to CR in late November/early December so right on the edge or rainy/dry season from what I've read.
Thinking of renting a car to get around the country rather than rely on shuttles and taxis. I keep seeing that it's important to get a car with 4 wheel drive but was hoping to get advice on how necessary it really is...are people just being overly careful or will I be screwed with a normal car?
