Me and my childhood buddy are embarking on our annual trip in 60 days. We ran into our classic problem of not knowing what todo and this time we wanted to turn to your collective experience and wisdom for guidance
In the past we have done things like, 50 states in 50 days(road trip), 9hole Europe(drinking), Central America(surfing) and the like
For this year we looked at the Mongol rally (starts out from the UK and ends in Mongolia) but we missed the starting dates
timing mid September onwards
Length 3 to 4 weeks
Budget 10k in total. Definitely not interested in hotels and the like
Climate We are fairly hardened travellers but would want to avoid monsoon type weather
Interests challenging adventures with an objective or a goal e.g., pan American highway road trip. Anything that could qualify as "epic"
Safety Not too concerned, though getting kidnapped would be less than ideal Let me know if you have any questions, and I'll try to clarify.
