Has anyone ever taught English in Japan or lived/worked there for any significant amount of time? I'm looking to teach English there for about a year. I see there are a lot of programs online, but can anyone recommend a program or a city that would be good to live in for a year?
I don't have much money to spend since I'm planning to go after college graduation. So I'm ideally looking for a teaching gig where they set you up with an apartment and some sort of a stipend or pay.
