Planning to hitchhike to Morocco - tips and or ideas please

So I'm planning to hitchhike from London through France, Spain and then into Morocco then go traveling through Morocco next summer (June or July). Anyone got any tips for hitchhiking there (I'm a guy) or places to see there and along the way?
