I'm a PCV in Sierra Leone. I am trying to get a flight to London to visit my girlfriend for Christmas. Originally, flights seemed super cheap (~$250 one way), but the taxes are over $1000, double the cost of the ticket.
Does anybody know a way around this? I'm living on next to no money, and I'm trying as hard as possible to make this relationship work! I had to bike hours to get to this internet cafe, and I'm sorry if this is in the wrong subreddit. Thanks in advance!
