I want to backpack Europe for 3 months at the end of my freshmen year and was wondering how much, on average, it costs? I plan to visit Eastern and Western Europe. I am going to stay in hostels, but am open to couch-surfing occasionally, and plan to using the Eurail to get around. I am from the US, but please do not include the flight of a ticket in the price.
