In October, I'll be landing in Paris. I have no return date or location booked yet. I have cities in mind that I'd like to visit, but don't know the most efficient way to travel between them. The cities are flexible, and I'm willing to add another/drop any if it would cut down my cost (trying to keep a budget of $4000 USD for food/room/travel while in Europe).
I've looked at Ryan Air, EuRail, etc. but it's just so complex for me, that I'm hoping someone local or with experience could answer this easily. My question is, using Air and Rail, what would the most efficient route between these cities be:
Paris
Rome
Florence
Venice
Amsterdam
Munich
Barcelona
