I am traveling to Greece for 10 days next week and would like to know how much cash I should take. I was planning on exchanging $500. I've calculated excursions and activities that we're doing and they add up up $340. I would like to know if the remainder will be enough for food and transportation such as cabs or bus? Also, I heard that credit cards aren't really accepted anywhere. Will I be charged a crazy fee if I withdrawal extra cash from an ATM? Thanks!
