My girlfriend and I are looking to get away for a week towards the end of August/early September. She's away at the minute so we can't book one together now, instead we're looking to grab a last minute deal.
We're not too bothered what board the room is as we'd like to eat out and explore the local culture - our budget would probably stretch as far as £700 ($1200) each.
It'd be nice to travel outside of Europe, but it's not imperative given our budget. I haven't booked last minute before so I'm not entirely sure how low the prices stoop, does anyone frequently book last minute and have an idea?
