As I write this I am sitting in Israel with the intentions of traveling to Egypt in roughly a weeks time for around 12-14 days. My plan would be to start off in Dahab for around four days before working my way to Cairo for a few days -- pyramids etc. -- and then book a train/boat combo return trip down to Luxor and Aswan before flying out of Cairo to London. I've been unable to be on a computer recently so I was wondering if anyone had any advice regarding travel in Egypt with the current situation/unrest. I have talked to people that have come back from Egypt 1-2 weeks ago and said everything was safe and fine but I still have some concerns that hopefully someone with more experience or information could shed some light on.
