Anyway, I was recently offered a job as a hostel receptionist in Queens. I've never worked in that area before and I'm curious about how challenging it is. I've stayed at numerous hostels abroad and had mostly good experiences with the front desk, but I'm assuming the work they do can be daunting.
Has anyone had experience in the field? Was it worth the pay? Did you like it? Keep in mind I'm talking about a hostel not a hotel. The place holds about 130 people.
