I was debating if I should get a SIM card for my iPhone to keep in contact with my volunteer location, couch surfing hosts, and any potential friends I make a long the way. I am aware of apps like Viber and Whatsapp that can help with keeping in contact with people back home, but would they be useful for contacting people who live in Ireland?
