Traveling to Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Band in Arizona this week. A quick question.

Its my first time going. Do I have to go with a tour? Is it a place I can be there for a few hours? Also I plan on driving to Horseshoe Bend (10 minutes away) Is there a place to park there?
