I've always wanted to explore Colorado and I finally have a trip planned! Leaving from Southern California (my hometown of Mt. Baldy). The only fixed destination I have is Morrison, CO to see a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater and visit some friends in Boulder. I've already seen most of Utah and a fair amount of Arizona. I LOVED Zion and also really like Flagstaff. I am into rock climbing and hiking so I always try to plan that into my trips. I am either riding my motorcycle or taking my ambulance-turned-camper. Either way, I wouldn't mind getting on some dirt roads. I've already been to Bryce, Moab/Arches, Monument Valley, Sedona. I wanted to know what the ESSENTIAL things to see in Colorado are and I was also hoping for a few hidden gems. At this point, I think I only have about 11 days. If we are not busy at work I will take more days and make a big loop all the way up to Washington and then down the coast. (Probably won't happen). I plan to camp or sleep in my ambulance. My budget is limited but not super tight, probably $100/day max., including food and fuel. Thanks for your help!
