I'll be traveling around Sicily the first days of August (1st - 10th), but I would prefer to leave Italy before September.
Since Tunisia is not that far from the island, I was planning to travel there for a couple of weeks and then return to Sicily (and from there most probably to Turkey), but ferry seems to be an expensive option (around 140€ the cheapest return ticket).
Is there (normally) any cheaper option? I'm not sure about normal ferry fares, or low cost flights from Italy to Tunisia. I could make a stop in Malta too.
