Two friends and I will be graduating from college this year, and we are planning on traveling around the world after school. We are going to spend 3 to 4 months in Europe and we can't decide if we should use the 3 month Eurail ticket or the cheap flights that are available in Europe. The plan is to visit at least 13 European countries. There are no set travel dates, instead we will be traveling when we feel like it is time to move on to the next place. The three month pass is around $1500 plus additional reservation fees. Whereas the flights average about 65 euros. We cannot decide which option would be best/cheapest for us.
We will start in Finland and then go to Sweden, Norway, Poland, Germany, Netherlands, UK, Ireland, France Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Turkey. Any suggestions or opinions on which option is a better would be appreciated.
