Hi everyone. Just a small update for everyone who posted all the kind words and solid advice. Following the incident there was a very stressful couple of weeks to do with getting my passport back and getting Sam repatriated. However I am glad to say that Sam was returned to the UK and I was able to fly home and attend the funeral. I spoke at the funeral and was able to tell his family about all the adventures we had had. Now the dust has begun to settle I'm looking to continue the journey we had started and teach English in SEA again. For anyone planning on living/working/travelling over there I wouldn't be discouraged by what happened, just be incredibly careful what you drink. Thanks for all the support and advice, it means a lot.
