I will be taking this coming July-August to travel solo in Italy, starting in Pisa. I'll be doing most of my travel by train. Key interests for me are keeping up my language skills (I love talking to people), eating delicious food, seeing some renaissance architecture and history, and seeing the countryside. I am also potentially interested in WWOOFing there.
My return flight to the US leaves from London, so I will eventually need to end up back there. I may just getting a flight back to Heathrow from Italy at the end of August, but I am also open to idea of getting there via a slower, more roundabout route. I do have two months, after all. :)
I'm hoping for suggestions on:
1) Places to visit/stay/eat/hike in Italy! 2) Creative ways of ending up back in London by August 31st.
