I'm writing a true or false trivia question for my weekly game that states:
"True/False: It is possible to travel by car from Johannesburg, South Africa to London, UK while remaining on a road at all times?"
I've put the trip into Google Maps to see what it would give me and it flat out refuses to take me from Egypt, through Israel and then through either Jordan or Syria to get to Turkey. It constantly is trying to put me on ferries despite setting "no ferries" and I'm hoping someone might know the local geography there and confirm that there is no road that allows you to drive continuously through these areas (due to lack of infrastructure or blockades etc) or if it might simply be a limitation of Google Maps and the journey is physically possible.
