A friend and I are driving my '06 Jetta from Halifax, NS through the US and back up to Canada to Whistler, BC. We have two weeks to do so (July 26th to August 9th) and are hoping to camp at a few national parks along the way and to spend a full day in both Chicago and Seattle. We don't have a set route yet since this trip is in its early planning stages so I was hoping for some suggestions on routes, places to camp, roads/ cities to avoid, and places to explore (time permitting).
