Hi all,
I'll be heading to SE Asia in a few weeks for an extended period of time. I know that it's their rainy season and should prepare for that, and in doing so, purchased a Marmot precip jacket yesterday from REI for $86 with their current members sale.
Is that an excessive purchase for what I'll need? Will a small umbrella suffice or does the convenience of the lightweight rain jacket make it worth it?
