Dear /r/travel,
I'm traveling to Argentina for the first time for 3/4 weeks in July with a friend. We will be using BA as a home-base but want to travel around the rest of the country as well. We were thinking about hitting the slopes for 3 or 4 days and people have told us to see Iguazu Falls and go to wine country. We each have about $4000 to spend on this trip outside of airfare.
We'd like to know:
- Whether you think it's worth it to spend part of our budget skiing for a few days (we were thinking Las Lenas) and if so, good places to stay, etc.
- Worthwhile things to do in and around BA
- Where else in the country you think we should see for sure
- tips for traveling
- really anything you think we should know or places you'd recommend.
We are a young couple and are down to get gritty, we like the outdoors but we also like nightlife!
