I'm travelling solo to Japan for 10 days and Korea for 11 days or so depending if I want to stay longer in either country in 6 days. Any suggestions where a solo traveler would like to go to? I'm the type of guy who goes in one direction and is willing to just do anything that I cross by whether its urban or rural. This is my first time travelling international so there are some concerns that are going through my mind. I was willing to backpack it around but I do have a hotel booked in both countries at the one particular spot.
Plus, anyone who has done the backpacking life, how can I try that lifestyle?
I'm definitely going to Nara, and I'm trying to find a hiking spot which I can attempt at.
Any suggestions on what you guys found particularly interesting in Japan/Korea or places that couldn't go to but wanted to?
