So i'm planning an anniversary trip for myself and my GF to the Big Island. I've been to Kona several times, so i'm semi familiar with the area. I've gone through some travel sites and currently have a price tag of $2774 (rental car, flights for 2 and hotel). I'm under 25, so the rental car costs more no matter what
the hotel has a kitchen and we don't plan to eat out at all if we can avoid it. http://hawaii-bnb.com/ this is the hotel i'm leaning towards, but i'm not set on it. I like it cause it has a full kitchen that the guests can use at their discretion
Any advice on reducing price or on a nicer/cheaper hotel would be great, as i have no idea what i'm doing :)
