A group of friends and I are looking for a beach house on the coast of NC preferably, will also consider SC and VA. We are looking for a house that meets ONE criterion - located on the soundfront with a "personal beach" in the backyard. The house we were unable to book has this and we loved it. It really made the trip last year and dropping the money for something less isn't very appealing at this point.
Can anyone recommend any particular area that may have a house like this? It is a huge perk to be able to drink, relax, play games with plenty of room in your own backyard. I only really know the Wilmington/Atlantic Beach area and can't find anything at this point.
If nothing else, where is a great beachy area close to some bars that we could aim for? Thanks for the replies
