If i was to drive around the world with a friend, what would be the biggest obstacles and how would they be best prepared for?

I'm posting this mostly out of curiosity, me and a friend were talking about how cool it would be to drive around the world and I was wondering what the biggest obstacles would be.

I'm thankful for any comments, and curious to know what people say, thanks!
