In August I will be traveling from Washington to Boston and am trying to work out what (or if to) book hostels/transportation. I have backpacked through both Europe and Asia booking on the day/the night before without a problem but that was always during the low season.
With traveling through the North-East, particularly in peak season in popular destinations I was wondering how far people would recommend to book accommodation ahead?
