Cute places in Bali for a romantic trip?

Hello! My girlfriend and I (both 23 years old) are heading off to Bali next week. I've done a bit of my own research and I am Indonesian myself so I have a good rough idea of what to expect. So far I have booked to stay in Nusa Dua, Ubud, and Gili Trawangan. I am looking for insider knowledge at this point; nice little places/warungs to eat and drink, sights that are out of the way, anything that could be useful would be fab!

Length: 12 days

Budget: I'm still a student but she's working full time, so she's got a bit more to play with. We're splitting accommodation 50/50. I'm thinking of carrying $400 (AUD) in cash to begin with, should I carry more or are the Commonwealth/other banks ATM fees not too bad? Would using a private driver be a more economical option to getting around or are cabs fine? (Neither of us are confident on scooters :( )

Interests: Food! I'm dying to have the best chicken sate I can find. Is babi guling Ibu Oka as great as it's made out to be? I can handle the heat and the kaki lima but I'm worried her tummy might get a little upset. I'm more interested in Rp 20,000 beers at the beach rather than big Bondi-style clubs if it helps. Snorkeling spots would be fantastic, we're both keen. I'd like to see Kintamani and/or Gunung Agung at some point, what's the best way of going about this? We're looking forward to shrooms on Gili T; I'd love a smoke elsewhere but I'm wary of the po-po.

Other stuff: We've got four or five days after leaving Gili T. Are there smaller villages we can stay in, perhaps to the north or west of Bali? My Indonesian is not bad which will be handy I think.

That's pretty much it! Anything else I may have overlooked let me know. Thanks in advance!
