Hello /r/Travel!
I am going to the US in two weeks and I am doing the last arrangements for the trip, including booking train tickets (Amtrak: Cleveland-Sandusky, Sandusky-Buffalo. VIA Rail: Toronto-Ottawa, Ottawa-Montreal) and I noticed the baggage entitlements, especially on Amtrak. I am planning on travelling with only a 90-liter backpack (That definitely doesn't pass the dimension restrictions).
How harsh are they concerning this? Does anyone have experience from traveling with either company with over-sized bags? Thanks!
