I'm looking at taking roughly an eight night trip with my girlfriend somewhere around the 11th-18th of August.
I'm looking on some advice of where would be best to go?
We are looking for somewhere we can really get away from everything but at the same time have the ability to be busy if we wanted to be.
We were looking at Morocco, staying at Marrakech for few nights and Essaouira for a few. Reading posts on here I'm not sure if we will be able to find what we are looking for, with the supposed hassle from locals etc. We were planning on staying in 2 different roads at each location. We found a 5 start riad in Marrakech for pretty cheap (£65/night) and another out in Essaouira (£70/night).
Any suggestions of anywhere to go in Europe or anywhere really that is reasonably cheap but has the same level of luxury and peace we would see at these 5 star places in Moroccan riads would be greatly appreciated.
Just looking for somewhere romantic to go with my girlfriend.
We will be leaving from Scotland so will need flights from here.
