I want to travel to Yosemite but unfortunately the best time for me would be in the Winter (Dec-Jan timeframe) due to school. I saw that the park is still accessible but is it even worth it to travel out there in the winter? Is there still hiking options or anything like that? Also, are tire chains required to even get to the park? I've never used tire chains before.
