I'm relatively new to this travel business, but plan on doing a large amount of it soon. I'm going to Switzerland and Portland this summer, and hiking Mt. St. Helens. For my international travel, I'm making sure to bring a travel pillow, ear plugs, and bandanas (multi-use, sleep mask as one of those uses). Got a rainproof backpack cover, international plug adapters, GoPro and accessories, swimsuit, sealed containers for collecting soil samples (I'm a science teacher), frisbee, ipad/ipod, books, mini LED flashlight, plus all my clothes/shoes, obviously. What are your things you never travel without?
