I'm taking a trip abroad that requires a down payment of 50% in Euros. However, my bank is in USD. They gave me international wire transfer information and also suggested paypal.
What would be the cheapest way for me to make this down payment in Euros? May I just wire an equivocal amount in USD? Has anyone who has done this before have any advice? I'd really appreciate not paying $50 in transfer/exchange rate fees.
