My bf is in Boston for the summer and we are planning a weekend trip to Maine next month when I go to visit him. Neither of us have been to Maine. I am looking up places to stay and all the coastal towns look kind of the same.... Any advice on towns to check out or avoid?
We are looking for something more quiet with nice beaches, lobsters, and of course a lighthouse is a must!
Edit: Ease of access is also necessary. I don't think we can deal with ferries or troublesome drives since it is only a two-day trip.
