Fellow photographers and enthusiasts, how do you travel with your gear? Do you carry an extra bag or pack just for your camera or do you stow it in your backpack?
Background: In August I plan on backpacking through Europe for between 30 and 40 days. I haven't picked out my pack yet, but research has led me to looking into a backpack that sizes between 30 and 40 L, but I can't visualize the best way to include my camera. I have a Sony Alpha 7 with the kit lens. It's a small kit, but I want to make sure nothing breaks and that I'm not carrying excessive baggage.
