My family and I are joining a tour group to Japan later on in the year and my aunt and cousin are interested in skipping out on the group dinner at a local restaurant in order to go shopping since we have no free days to ourselves/ it is the only stop where our hotel is a good block or so away from a department store. Is it inconsiderate for them to ask our local tour guide and escort translator to exclude them from the dinner the rest of the tour group, my family and myself will be going to?
