Near the end of the year I intend on moving to southern China for work (I'll get the Z visa in the USA). However I would like to travel a little extra beforehand to India and Nepal.
Would it be possible for me to travel through Tibet from Nepal then take a train from Lhasa to mainland China?
I know you can pick up a tibet tour visa/permits from Kathmandu and some say you can exit to mainland China by train or air instead of coming back to Nepal. Are there any complications with me having a Z visa and the visa/permit for Tibet voiding it? I can't find any information on this
