Hey experts of r/travel!
I'm spending two weeks solo in Italy (July 4-July 18th), and I was wondering if you guys had advice on managing the trip in the summer. I'm starting in Milan shooting an assignment for ~2 days, and then need to find my way to Split, Croatia on the 18th.
My research tells me I should do Florence and Rome some other time not in the summer—any ranking of cities a new traveler should hit first? Hostels you enjoyed? Or even general inter-Italy travel trips? I love hearing about everyone's Italy trips. Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it!
