My fellow Vagabonders, I am seeking recommendations for a relaxing location in Southeast Asia for my partner and I to recharge the batteries before I start my new job in August.
Current status - Living in chaotic and polluted Jakarta, Indonesia. Seeking relaxation and simple living anywhere in Southeast Asia.
Length - 1 month, all of July
Budget - $1,500 - $2,000 (lodging, food, small adventures)
Requirements - Direct flight to the country's capital (need to visit embassy for upcoming Visa), has reliable internet and is welcoming of a life retreat, not Bali.
Interests - Local culture, beach, mountains, good food, nice people, art, design, golf.
About us - We are both from Hawaii, so close proximity to nice beaches is a definitely plus. 32F is a graphic designer & 27M is a marketer. Mahalo!
