Hey,
So the situation is this:
I've been planing on going to Berlin for 2 months this summer, with the goal of furthering my German language studies, spending time in the library doing general research for my Masters' Thesis, and having fun.
However, it seems to be on the verge of impossible to find a normal sublet as the demand is simply too damn high. It looks like EVERYONE are going to Berlin, and if I actually manage to find a place it would cost me around 450 Euro per month.
In the meanwhile, my sister happened to stumble upon a job and relocation to Athens, and she's been living there for 2 months now and have a spare guest room straight in the center of Athens.
I could go to Athens, and maybe continue to the different Greek islands from there, while still doing the reading I need to do in the library, and saving a load of money - first of all the 900 euro of rent for 2 months, and then the cheaper cost of living which Greece offers.
So, What do you guys/gals think I should do? Should I go with the 'hip' and drop the cash on Berlin, or should I say fuck the hipsters and have a sunny summer in Athens and Greece?
(My apartment in Jerusalem is already going on sublet so i have to go somewhere)
Thanks, Pyopi
