As part of a "Eurotrip" me and several friends will be embarking on we will be staying in Prague from Monday August 11th and flying out on Friday morning the 15th of August. We want to experience the culture and not rush too much throughout our trip. Could you please shed some light on the itinerary below? (We are staying near the Charles bridge and should be pretty central to the major tourist attractions).
Day 1 - we get in around lunch time therefore day 1 is going to be pretty cruisy. We are planning to visit Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral , Lobkowicz Palace, Charles Bridge and dinner at U Kroka.
Day 2 – Old Town Hall and Astronomical Clock, Old Town Square, Church of the Virgin Mary Before Tyn , old town and Lesser Quarter, dinner at Alcron
Day 3 – Mucha Museum, Wallenstein Palace Gardens, , Vysehrad National Cultural Monument, Church of St. Nicholas
Day 4 - Day trip to Cesky Krumlov or would anyone recommend on visiting more sights in Prague instead?
Are we doing the sights in the right order? If not, could you please suggest an alternative order? Would you recommend other sights over others? All suggestions welcome. Thanks!
NOTE: We are also on the lookout for any cool/laid back local type bars/clubs worth checking out later in the night on a weekday.
thanks!
