I was hoping to rent a car while I'm in Israel. When I was in Germany I was unable to rent a car because I renewed my license recently so even though I had my license for 4 years, it looked like I had it for less than 1 year and they require that you have it for at least 2 to rent. Does Israel have any kind of restrictions like that? Could I just go to a DMV and get something official that says I've been driving for longer than my license makes it seem? I don't have time to get an international license. Any specific companies that you would recommend for Israel? Thanks.
