I'm planning a trip to Puerto Rico from Indiana for a week in the end of July. I have never traveled before. I just have a few questions.
Are there any airlines that I should avoid? I don't need the best, I would just prefer to avoid the consistently bad ones. Also, do you have any tricks for getting the cheapest flights? I've found round trip tickets in the low $400's which isn't too bad, but I don't want to miss out on any great deals.
I will probably need a car, as I don't plan on staying in San Juan and I also plan on traveling a little from where I'm staying. I'm only 19 and my friend who I am traveling with is the same age. Is there any way around this, since the age requirement is 21?
Are there any tips or anything I should know for traveling? Maybe things I should know about Puerto Rico, or ways to get better deals, or fun things to do in Puerto Rico? Anything that you think would be neat or helpful. I will be staying on the East side of Puerto Rico.
I felt like I had more questions than that, but I'm drawing a blank, so I'll leave it at that. I appreciate any help or advice!
