Hey everybody! I am going to Ireland with my parents from July 4 (arriving early July 5) through July 12. We have to be in Dublin from the 7th through the 9th for business. We are hoping to at least see Dingle and Cork, and maybe Galway, but our hotel in Dublin is paid for from July 5-8, so we are not quite sure about how we should split up our time so that we can be back by the night of the 11th to catch our morning flight on the 12th.
My parents are trying to avoid renting a car, and instead taking trains and other public transport, but I think if we are going to do something outside of Dublin on the 5th and 6th then they might be open to renting a car for a short period, mainly to avoid the longer travel times involved with public transport.
We would appreciate any ideas! Thanks!
