My wife and I are flying into Madrid, and will be there 4 days and will be in Barcelona for the last 5 days of the trip. If between we have 4 days to spend. We want to spend it in a small town. We're not sure where to look. We prefer something there for tourists, but nothing overly special. We want to experience some level of "rural" or the countryside of Spain. It'll be our low key part of the trip. We have no preference between beach, mountain or countryside.
Budget wise, nothing outlandish, something from 100-175 euros a night.
Any direction or help is appreciated, there seems to be many of them and we don't know where to start.
