I am looking to visit the Italian Riviera followed by the French Riviera this August (2014). I really only have time to visit one city in Italy and one in France. I need help deciding which cities to go to. I would like something with easy access by train, beautiful beaches and quintessential charm. On the Italian Rivera I will be coming from Milan so that is a factor and then will be heading to the French Riviera city of my choice a few days later.
