I'm driving from San Diego to Las Vegas next week over a day. I have the car for about 12 hours and am looking to take the most interesting route. I'm from the UK and so cool bits in the desert would be interesting to me. Is there anything anyone particularly recommends me seeing you or has suggestions about the best route? Currently I'm thinking of going East on I8, North on 95, through lake Havasu city then north along Kelbaker Road through the Mojave National Preserve. Thanks in advance.
